Made it to Mie prefecture; Nagoya and Aichi.

I left Tokyo Friday , July 6 to head towards Nagoya.  While waiting to meet up with my friend I enjoyed the area around Nagoya train station as well as Noritake Garden.  I will be here until tomorrow and then I will head to Yokohama.   Constantly on the move has been super interesting and new for me, but the experiences I am having are worth all of the hassles.

Tokyo for 1 Day!

On Thursday, January 6th I traveled back to Tokyo for the day to attend the Japan-American Society of Washington DC's Networking event in Ebisu.  It was wonderful meeting new people.   Afterward, I went with a few of the attendees to karaoke, which was a lot of fun.

Going back to to Hirakata...

Happy July 4th from Japan.   Today I leave the Namba area and head back to Hirakata.  It's a small homecoming of sorts.  This is where I lived for one year when I attended Kansai Gaidai from 2014-2015.  I leave Namba having completed 2 interviews and enjoying a little of what the area is known for: Dontonbori Bridge Okonomiyaki Osaka Castle Shopping I learned that equipment doesn't always work the way you want or expect it to.  A video I thought was recording turned into just a voice recording and man it looked so good on the screen.  Shoganai (It is what it is).  It sucks but I will move on.   I look forward to how my cute little city has developed and spending time with friends.  Next will be Tokyo for one day for the Japan American Society of DC dinner, Mie for 2 days, Yokohama for 2 or 3 days and then ending back in Tokyo before I venture home on July 17th.
