Happy July 4th from Japan.
Today I leave the Namba area and head back to Hirakata. It's a small homecoming of sorts. This is where I lived for one year when I attended Kansai Gaidai from 2014-2015. I leave Namba having completed 2 interviews and enjoying a little of what the area is known for:
Dontonbori Bridge
Okonomiyaki
Osaka Castle
Shopping
I learned that equipment doesn't always work the way you want or expect it to. A video I thought was recording turned into just a voice recording and man it looked so good on the screen. Shoganai (It is what it is). It sucks but I will move on.
I look forward to how my cute little city has developed and spending time with friends. Next will be Tokyo for one day for the Japan American Society of DC dinner, Mie for 2 days, Yokohama for 2 or 3 days and then ending back in Tokyo before I venture home on July 17th.
