As I venture back to my hostel after an amazing interview with a girl named Sophie, I feel a sense of satisfaction. With each interview it becomes more apparent why my project is so meaningful. After a day of looking at local temples I stumbled on to a mall and look what I found. The cutest cafe ever. Check out my breakfast/dessert for dinner. I'm so excited. I kept seeing these large toast advertised I am so glad I waited till the Moomin Cafe. After about seven hours of traveling, 2 subways, 2 Shinkansen's lots of stairs carrying luggage and walking between them all, from Shinjuku Tokyo... I made it to Fukuoka, Kyushu at the very southern part of Japan. Time for a shower and food. Temple is one of three I passed on my way to the hostel. The hostel has a very industrial feel. Day Out and About

Dying for kitsune udon for the last few days. Tonight I had it. In the Toho Cinemas building was an awesome little udon place. Even got a eggplant tempura to add in. Was going to go to a movie but all the movies I wanted to see would of had me waiting around an hour. Oh well next time. Having some complimentary ice cream at my hotel. Day 1- repeated...lol

Ok so since I arrived back in Tokyo, I have taken the Skyliner Airport Express train, found my capsule hotel, slept for many hours, found some food, briefly went shopping, found a hidden temple where I prayed for a friend who recently passed and my mom, saw my name on a billboard, spent hours emailing people regarding my project in the net cafe at my hotel and am now eating connivence store dinner. Which rocks by the way. Phew. I would have done more but it was raining all day and I bought a $22 folding umbrella by totes. No I couldn't just buy a cheap clear one.
